In Procore, users with 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permission on the RFIs tool have the ability to create a new RFI in the 'Draft' status. For 'Standard' users with the 'Act as RFI Manager' granular permission enabled on their permission template and for 'Admin' users, the ability to create a 'Draft' RFI is an option. For 'Standard' users without the 'Act as RFI Manager' granular permission, all RFIs are automatically created in the 'Draft' status when they are sent for review.
When you are ready to save the RFI in the 'Draft' status in the new RFI page, click the Save as Draft button shown below.
When you are ready to save the RFI in the 'Draft' status in the new RFI page, click the Send for Review button shown below. The system automatically saves the RFI in the 'Draft' status so it can be reviewed by the person you designated as the RFI Manager (or another user with 'Admin' level permission on the RFIs tool). Ball In Court responsibility for the RFI then shifts to the RFI Manager, so they can review the RFI.
