Which Microsoft Excel file versions can be attached to items in Procore?

Procore's Company and Project Level tools allow you to attach file(s) to the items you create, as shown in the example below.
You can add a variety of file types as an attachment. However, it is important to note that Procore's tools do NOT support Microsoft Excel file attachments for versions that are no longer supported by Microsoft.
Notes
If you are trying to attach a file that has been saved in a format that is associated with an unsupported version of Microsoft Excel, Procore recommends upgrading your computer's software to a version of Microsoft Office that is currently supported by Microsoft. See Office 365 or Office 2016.
Below is a list of Microsoft Excel versions that are no longer supported by Microsoft:
- Microsoft Excel 2003 and prior (for example, Microsoft Excel 95 and Microsoft Excel 97). See Support Has Ended for Microsoft Office 2003.
- Microsoft Excel 2007. See Support Has Ended for Microsoft Office 2007.
