View Equipment on the Map in the Company Equipment Tool

Objective

To view equipment on a map in the Company level Equipment tool.

Background

Scanning an Equipment QR code updates the equipment's location on the tool's map. This update uses the GPS location of the scanning device, if Location Services are enabled on the device.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions
• The location is only updated if Location Services are enabled on the user's mobile device.

Prerequisites

• The QR code for the equipment must be scanned, and Location Services must be enabled on the scanning device.
  • Scan an Equipment QR Code (iOS)
  • Scan an Equipment QR Code (Android)

Steps

1. Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.
2. Click the Map view.
