Deactivate a Defect Item Template on a Project

Objective

To deactivate a Defect List template at the Project level. 

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions: 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Defect List tool.
• Additional Information:
  • Defect List item templates deactivated at the Project level will still be available on other projects and at the Company level.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Defect List tool.
2. Click the Configure Settings  icon.
3. Click Defect List Templates.
4. Scroll to the template you want to deactivate.
5. Uncheck the box under the column titled 'Active.'
