How do I set up my account in Workforce Planning?

Background

People using Workforce Planning can log in to Procore and access the Workforce Planning tool. 

Answer

Users are invited to Procore and Workforce Planning by another user at their company. See Add People to Workforce Planning.

After you have been added, you must follow these steps to access Workforce Planning:

  1. Create your account in Workforce Planning.
  2. Create your account in Procore.
    Note: You will only receive this email if you do not yet have an active account in Procore.
 Note

You must create accounts in BOTH tools to access Workforce Planning in Procore.

  1. Log in to Procore and authorise Workforce Planning.

Create your account in Workforce Planning

After you have been added to the Workforce Planning tool, you receive an email invitation to set up your account in Workforce Planning:

  1. From the email, click Get Started.
  2. Enter your Password. Your password must include the following requirements:
    • Be at least 8 characters
    • Contain at least one upper case character
    • Contain at least one lower case character
    • Contain at least one numeric character
  3. Re-enter your password to confirm your password.
  4. Click Accept Invitation.
 Note

If your company uses Single Sign On (SSO), follow these steps:

  1. From the email, click the link to log in using SSO.
  2. Log in using SSO.

 

Create your Account in Procore

If you do not yet have an account in Procore, you will recieve a second email to set up your account in Procore.

  1. From the email, click Get Started.
  2. Enter your Password. Your password must include the following requirements:
    • Be at least 8 characters
    • Contain at least one upper case character
    • Contain at least one lower case character
    • Contain at least one numeric character
    • Contain at least one of the following special characters (! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + ` ~ ' " , < . > / ? [ { ] } \ | ; :)
  3. Re-enter your password to confirm your password.
  4. Click Set Password.

After you have set passwords in both system, you can log in to Procore and access Workforce Planning.

 Tip
If more than an hour has passed since you received your Workforce Planning invitation and have not yet received an email to create your account in Procore, reach out to the Workforce Planning point of contact at your company. They can send you an invitation to set up your Procore account by following these steps.

Log in to Workforce Planning

To log in to your Procore account:

  1. Go to the Procore web application at: https://app.procore.com.
  2. Enter your Procore email address and password as follows:
    Note: If you do not know your Procore email address and password, contact your company's Procore Administrator or the Procore Administrator for the company that you are doing business with. 
    • If you received a 'Welcome to Procore' email, your Procore email address is the address to which you invitation was sent and you will be prompted to create a password when you log in for the first time. See Join Procore from the Welcome to Procore Invite
      OR
    • If you already know your Procore email address and password, enter your information as shown below and then click Log In.
      Note: If you have been invited to join more than one company's Procore account, you will be prompted to select a company and click Continue

      You are logged into the Procore web application. 
  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. The first time you navigate to the Workforce Planning tool, you are asked to 'Authorize Workforce Planning'. Click Allow.

You are now logged into the Workforce Planning tool.
