What do the different statuses mean on Procore's feedback forum?

Background

If you have feedback, an idea or a suggestion for improving Procore, you can post an idea to our feedback forum. The Procore Feedback Forum is monitored by Procore's Product Mangement team and gives our customers a place to submit their ideas so other users can add their vote to your idea, as well as discuss each suggestion by adding their comments.

Answer

Ideas that are posted on the Procore Feedback Forum can be assigned various statuses at different stages of the ideas' evaluations.

These statuses are:

  • Existing Functionality
    • This status is used to close ideas that refer to functionality that already exists in Procore or that refer to Support-based requests.
  • Open
    • This status is used to identify new ideas that are being reviewed and discussed before given a different status.
    Decline
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that deviate from Procore's product strategy.
  • Not Planned
    • This status can be used for multiple reasons but is most commonly used to identify ideas for features that don't align with Procore's architectural integrity.
    • This status can also be used when Procore deviates from the specific idea, but an alternative solution or process is available.
    • Ideas with this status might be reconsidered for development in the future.
  • Future Consideration
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that are not currently being developed but have potential for future development.
  • Planned
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that have been verified to be on Procore's product roadmap, but are not yet in active development.
  • In Development
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that are currently in active development.
  • In Beta
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that are part of a beta release.
  • Limited Availability
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that have some but not general availability in Procore, including features that have been:
      • Released in specific locales.
      • Released on specific platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
  • General Availability
    • This status is used to identify ideas for features that have been released.
