How to Log in to Procore Web (app.procore.com)

 Important for New Users!
Before you can access a company's Procore account, you will need to be invited by an administrator of the company's account. You can't create your own Procore user account.

Objective

To log in to the Procore web application.

Background

To log in to the Procore web application, you need an email address and password. Your Procore user account can only be created for you by an administrator for an active Procore company account. The administrator sets up the email address you log in with. You set up your own password. As a best practice, never share your password with anyone. Procore support will never ask you for your password.

After logging in to Procore, you can only access the Procore companies and projects to which you have been granted access. If different companies add you to their accounts using different email addresses, you'll need to use the address they gave you access through to log in to that company.

If you're new to Procore, there are two ways to access the account that was created for you by an administrator:

  • From your 'Welcome to Procore' email. Click the link in the email to set up your password so you can access your account. Your login email address is the email the invitation was sent to. You do NOT need to do this every time you are added to a new project or company as long as you are added with the same email address.
    OR
  • From the Procore Login Page. Go to https://app.procore.com. Then, enter your email address on the login page. If you haven't set up a password yet, click 'Forgot Password' to set up your password. This action sends you an email with a link to set up your password.
 Notes

Some companies enable Single Sign-On (SSO) or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for users accessing their account.

  • To learn how to log in when MFA is enabled, see Log in to Procore using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • If SSO is enabled, after entering your email address on the login page, you will be redirected to your company's SSO system to enter login credentials. After you log in through your company's system, you are redirected back to Procore.
  • Some companies' SSO configurations might allow you to log in to Procore directly from your company's SSO system (such as Okta, Entra ID, or OneLogin.) In that scenario, you will NOT enter login credentials through Procore's login screen.
  • You cannot reset your SSO password through Procore.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
    • A user with permission to give you access to a company's account must add you to the Directory for their company.
Note: Additional permissions are required to be able to view specific projects and their data. If you have access to a company, but can't see certain data or projects you need, contact the administrator for the company or project.
  • Additional Information:
    • Once an administrator invites you to a company or project, you typically receive a 'Welcome to Procore' email from an address ending in @procoretech.com.
    • If you receive an invitation to join another project or company in Procore, and you already have an active Procore account under the email address the invitation is sent to, you don't need to accept the invitation or reset your password to access the new project or company. Your existing credentials will provide access to all projects and companies to which you've been added with that email address.
    • If you don't log in to Procore when you receive an invitation, the system will send automated follow-up emails after three (3), seven (7), and fourteen (14) days.
 Tip

Were you invited to a new company or project, but don't see it available to you after logging in?

This usually happens when the email address used to add you to the new project or company is incorrect, or different from the login email you use to access other companies or projects. Check with an administrator for the project or company to confirm the correct email address and spelling.
