Procore

2020

Below are the notable changes to the company's Portfolio tool in 2020.

New Project Level Language Selection (1/9/2020)

Procore has released a new setting that allows users with the appropriate permissions to select the language they want an individual Procore project to be displayed in. Previously, in order to change a project's language, users needed to request the change from their Procore point of contact. Now a project's language can be selected by users with the appropriate permissions to create new projects or to update existing projects. See Create a New Project. On existing projects, this setting is managed in the 'General' tab under the Project Settings in the Project level Admin tool. See Update General Project Information.

New User Level Language Selection in 'My Profile Settings' (6/8/2020)

Procore has released a new setting that allows users to select the language they want their individual Procore account to be displayed in. Unlike changing the language for a project or an entire company account, selecting the language for your user account will not have any impact on the language settings for other users. See Change Your Account Language in 'My Profile Settings'.

New Icons to Indicate Test Projects and Project Templates (10/2/2020)

In the Portfolio List view, projects designated as Test Projects or Project Templates now have an info icon next to their name. When users hover over the icon, a tooltip displays to indicate whether the project is a Test Project or a Project Template. See What is a Test Project? and What is a Project Template?
