Job stage, configured in the project’s Admin tool, is now visible in Resource Planning when data syncs are enabled. You can view the job stage from the Project Details, add the column on the Project List, and filter on the New Assignments Gantt. See Change a Project's Stage of Construction, Configure View for the Projects List, and Search, Sort, and Filter the Assignments Gantt.
When sending assignment alerts, you can now include the Assignment Instructions and Scope of Work in the assignment alert. See Configure Default Assignment Alerts and Create Custom Assignment Alerts.
Procore has integrated employees programd through Resource Planning into the Timesheets creation process. When creating timesheets for people with resource assignments, their start and stop times are automatically filled in based on their assignment in Resource Planning. See Create a Timesheet.
When a user is deleted or marked as 'Inactive', their assignments are automatically ended on the date their user status changes. Any future assignments for that user are archived. See Deactivate People in Resource Planning and Delete People in Resource Planning.
The People List page has an updated layout. Users can see People details without having to navigate away and return to the list page. Easily configure and apply filters, bulk update information, and sort every column of data. Additional columns have been added to identify who is available for assignments, and any upcoming assignments for a resource, providing greater insight into utilization. See View the People List.
In November of 2024, Procore announced Resource Management, the industry’s first complete labour, equipment, and materials solution, designed to streamline how users manage resources across the entire portfolio. With Resource Management, construction businesses can plan, track, and forecast labour, equipment, and materials seamlessly from one unified platform. To align with this new initiative, 'Workforce Planning' is now 'Resource Planning'.
Users who are given resource assignments using the new Assignment and Request modal are automatically added to the project in the Procore Directory. See Create an Assignment.

Creating a labour plan helps to visualise you labour and forecasting needs, and allows you to simplify project setup by bulk creating resource requests. You can create a labour plan from the Project Details and Assignments Gantt. After you have created your labour plan and filled your resource requests, you can make adjustments to your plan by shifting your project or using the Assignments Gantt. See Create a Labour Plan.
Tags for people and projects are supported when passing data from your system of record to Resource Planning. See Resource Planning Data Mapping.
Read receipts are available for messages sent to an individual in Resource Planning. To be marked as 'Read', the message needs to be opened by the recipient either on the Procore web app, or LabourChart mobile app. See View Read Receipts for Messages.
For companies that have Resource Planning as the system of record for project data, data syncing to the Portfolio tool is now immediate. When you make updates in the Project List in the Resource Planning tool, data will sync immediately to the company's Portfolio tool. On average, syncs will take less than one minute.
