Respond to a Workforce Planning Message



To respond messages sent from the Workforce Planning tool.


When managing your workforce, you can send messages to provide helpful information such as updates to weather, programs or information about certain job titles. People can respond to messages so that communication can be tracked and managed in Workforce Planning.

Things to Consider


Follow these steps to:

Respond by Email

  1. In your email client, open the email message.
  2. Click Reply.
  3. Click Send to send the email message.

Respond by Workforce Planning/LaborChart App

  1. On your mobile device, open the Workforce Planning/LaborChart app. See What is the Workforce Planning/LaborChart App?
  2. Tap the more menu (≡) icon and select Communications.
  3. Tap the message.
  4. Enter your response.
  5. Tap Send.

Respond using the Messages tool

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Communications and select Messages.
  3. Select the message to reply to.
  4. Enter your response.
  5. Click Reply.
