Add Notes to the Tender List
Objective
To add notes to the tender list.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Tendering tool.
OR - 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Tendering tool with the 'Create Tender Notes', 'Edit Tender Notes' or 'Delete Tender Notes' granular permission enabled on your permission template.
- 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Tendering tool.
- Additional Information:
- Users with 'Standard' or 'Read Only' level permissions can only act on tender notes if they have been added to the 'Bidding CC Group' in the tender package. See Create Tender Package.
- Tender notes cannot be viewed by users with 'Read Only' permissions, unless they have one of the 'Bid Note' granular permissions enabled on their permission template.
- You can add as many notes as necessary. The most recently created note is shown first.
Steps
Important
If your project has been updated to the new tender management experience, see the Tender Management Enhanced Experience section below. Otherwise, follow these steps.- Navigate to your project's Tendering tool.
- Open the tender package.
- In the row of the company you want to add a note to, hover in the Notes column and click the + icon.
- Enter your note. To save the note, click out of the text box or press ENTER on your keyboard.
For Projects on Tender Management Enhanced Experience
- Navigate to your project's Tendering tool.
- Open the tender package.
- Hover over the 'Notes' column for the company and click Add Note.
- Enter your note.
Tip! You can expand the text box to make it larger if necessary. - Click Add Note to save the note.
If you need to edit or delete the note, see the steps below.
Edit a Note
- Click on the note in the 'Notes' column.
Notes are shown in the side panel. - Click the vertical ellipsis icon for the note you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the text as necessary.
- Click Save.
Delete a Note
- Click on the note in the 'Notes' column.
Notes are shown in the side panel. - Click the vertical ellipsis icon for the note you want to edit.
- Click Delete.
The note is automatically deleted.
