Edit a Budget

Objective

To update a budget using the project's Budget tool.

Background

There are several ways to make changes to a project's budget. The tasks that you can perform depend on where you are in the budgeting process and whether the budget is locked or unlocked.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • Refer to the 'Things to Consider' sections in the tutorials listed under Steps below. 
• For companies using the ERP Integrations tool:
  • The budget must be locked to export it to an integrated ERP system. See Lock a Budget.
