Remove a Batch of Companies from a Project Directory

Objective

To use the Bulk Actions > Remove from Project menu in the Companies view of the Project Directory.

Background

You can use the Bulk Actions > Remove from Project menu command in the Companies view of the Project Directory. This allows you to move company records in Procore to the Inactive Companies page.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Admin' level permissions on the Project level Directory tool.
    OR
  • 'Standard' or 'Read Only' level permissions on the Project level Directory tool with the 'Remove Company from Project' granular permission enabled on your permissions template.
• Additional Information:
  • Inactivating a company record will also remove ALL users associated with the company from the project. If you want to keep users associated with a project, you must first remove them from the company you want to delete. 

Steps

1. Navigate to the Project level Directory tool.
2. Click the Companies tab.
3. Mark the checkbox next to one or more company names.
4. Choose Bulk Actions > Remove from Project.
5. Click OK to acknowledge the confirmation message.
   A GREEN banner appears to confirm that the select company records were removed from the project.
