Copy a 360 Report

Objective

To copy a 360 Report using the 360 Reporting tool.

Background

Copying a report allows you to quickly recreate the report on the same project or a new project. You can also promote a report to the Company level 360 Reporting tool through the 'Copy Report' menu to make it available for assignment to any project.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • To copy a report on the same project:
      • 'Standard' level permissions or above to the Project level 360 Reporting tool.
    • To copy to another project:
      • 'Standard' level permissions or above on both projects' 360 Reporting tools.
    • To promote a report to the Company level:
      • 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level DIrectory tool.
    • In all scenarios, you need:
      • You must have access to the report as the creator, or the report must be shared with you.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the 360 Reporting tool.

    • Use the Company 360 Reporting tool for company reports.
    • Use the Project 360 Reporting tool for project reports.
  2. Open the desired report.
  3. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) and hover over Make a Copy.
  4. Click one of the following options:
    • Copy to Current Project.
      A banner will appear to say 'The report was successfully copied'.
    • Copy to Another Project.
      After clicking copy, choose the project(s) the report will be copied to. 
    • Promote to Company.
      A banner will appear to say 'This report was successfully promoted to company level'.  
  5. Optional: Click 'View Copy' in the success banner to view the copy of the report.
    Note: If you copy a report to more than one project at once, you will not have the option to click 'View Copy'. Instead, navigate to one of the projects you would like to view the copy in, and view it directy from the 360 Reporting tool.
