Marking Up a Drawing From the Project Management menu, select the Drawings tool and open the relevant Drawing. When deciding this, consider what drawing gives the best view of detail for the function. For example, raising an RFI for a connection detail would be best be initiated from a Structural Detail Drawing. Zoom to the intended view then tap that screen – The Mark-up tools can be used. Refer to support link for detailed tool descriptions.

Viewing Layers When viewing a drawing, the mark-up layers can be turned on and off as needed for the desired view. Personal Layer includes all personal mark-ups that have not been published. Published Layer includes all published mark-ups from all users. To change the layer view, select the filter button then use the button to turn layers on / off. Different types of mark-ups can also be turned on / off in this menu to allow users to filter based on linked tools. |
|
Emailing a Snapshot It may be necessary to send an external party a Snapshot of a Drawing. This can be done by zooming to the desired view then clicking the button and selecting Email Snapshot. Note: This will use your default email app on your device to send the email. |
Handy Tips
-
A Personal mark-up will not be viewable by anyone else until it is Published.
-
All previously added mark-ups on an existing drawing in Procore will be preserved and inherited if a newer version of the drawing is uploaded. You should automatically see all of the same personal and published mark-ups on top of the new revision.
