Overview

The Submittals tool is used to control the submission and review of items that require approval before commencement. This can be used for Fletcher Industrial Development Team Members to submit items to others, or to request items be submitted to Fletcher Industrial Development from external parties (ie Consultants / Contractors), or a combination of both. 

Submittals will be created by Fletcher Industrial Development to request information from the responsible party about the specific items planned for incorporation in a project. 

Once the Consultant / Contractor has submitted the information (e.g., designs, materials data, product data, product samples, shop drawings, and more), the project and design teams review the submissions to make sure the information complies with the project drawings and specifications. 

Once approved, the submittal is returned to the Contractor / Consultant, which signifies that the work (or fabrication) is approved to proceed.

Things to Consider

• Submittals Packages can be created to group multiple Submittals together but still have separate workflows. For more information on Submittal Packages, refer to this Support Link.
