Submittals
Submittals
Overview
The Submittals tool is used to control the submission and review of items that require approval before commencement / publishing. This can be used for Fletcher Industrial Development Team Members to submit items to others, request items be submitted to Fletcher Industrial Development from external parties, or a combination of both.
Submittals are typically created by the Development Manager to request information from the responsible Consultant / Contractor about the specific items planned for design, fabrication, or installation on a project.
Once the external party has submitted the information (e.g., 30/60/90 drawing sets, shop drawings, material data, product data, product samples, and more), the project and design teams review the submissions to make sure the information complies with the project brief.
Once approved, the submittal is returned to the creator, which signifies that the work / design / fabrication (depending on type) is approved to proceed.
