Insert a Formatting Template

Objective

To insert a formatting template on your Training Center page.

Background

Training Center Editors can use pre-set formatting templates for easy content organization. The formatting templates are callout boxes for highlighting key information and include icons and color aspects. They include the function to customize the text within so you can convey a key message and enhance visual consistency across a Training Center.

Some reccommended uses are highlighted below, see Template Examples.

Things to Consider

Formatting templates named "Limited Release", "Coming Soon", or "In Beta" are used when a functionality is still being tested in the Procore application and may not be available to all users.

 Warning

Not all templates will be visible to Training Center Editors and Users, if added to a page.

Any template that includes the word "superuser" in its title is intended for Procore internal employees ONLY.

If a Training Center Editor adds a "superuser template" option to a page, it will not be visible after saving that page.

Template Examples

Here are examples of templates that can be used to generate increasing measures of awareness and alert for your users.

  • Notes and Tips are helpful for calling out ways that may benefit a process. These are the most commonly used formatting templates.
  • Caution and Warnings are helpful for calling out what may be harmful to a process or what must be completed before proceeding.
