Insert an Image

Objective

To insert an image on a page.

Things to Consider

• Recommended max width for an image is 700 pixels if not set to Responsive.
• If an image is mapped it cannot be set to responsive.
• To ensure the responsiveness of the image on smaller screens and mobile devices, do not adjust the image size in the editor window. Instead, export the image and adjust the size in an image editor and then reattach the image. 
• Supported image types are .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .svg

Steps

1. Navigate to the Training Center page you want to add an image to. 
2. Click Edit and then Edit Live.
3. Place your cursor where you want to insert the image.
4. Click the Image icon.
   
5. Select an image using either option below:
   • Browse for an image: Under the Browse tab, select an image that has already been uploaded to your training center. Please refer to the Attach a Document tutorial to upload an image or document. 
   • Attach files: Choose a file from your computer to attach to the article. 
6. Click the Options tab to ensure the Responsive radio button is selected and an alignment is chosen.
   • Size: Responsive. 
     Do not adjust the image size in the editor window. Instead, export the image and adjust the size in an image editor and then insert the image.
   • Alignment on the page: Default, Left, Right.
     
7. Click Save Image.
