Procore Support (en-au)

To whom can I assign an RFI?

Answer

In Procore, the Assignees (i.e., the person(s) responsible for submitting a response) on a Request for Information (RFI) must be granted 'Standard' level permission or higher to the RFIs tool. Only the RFIs creator or the RFI Manager (see What is the RFI Manager?) can specify the name of the 'Assigned To' person when creating the RFI. For instructions, see Create an RFI.
Note: If the RFI creator is a user with 'Standard' level permission to the RFIs tool, that user is restricted to assigning RFIs to users with 'Admin' level permission to the RFIs tool. See Can users with 'Standard' level permission create RFIs?

After the RFI is created and in the 'Open' status, the system lists the Assignee(s) as the Ball In Court for the RFI.
