What is a site diary?

In construction management, the site diary is a daily record of significant occurrences, incidents and progress made on a worksite. It is also used to track weather and working hours.

Common Uses

  • Gives the owner insight into the project.
  • Admissible in court as documentary evidence.
  • Incredibly important to maintain and write as much detail as possible.

Construction Process

  • Site Manager maintains registers. Owners are often interested in reviewing daily registers.
