Where does the 'Qualifications' data come from when searching for tenderers?

When searching for tenderers in the Procore Construction Network, you'll see a 'Qualification Status' column that shows statuses such as 'Qualified', 'Qualified w/ Exceptions', 'Denied', 'Not Assigned', 'Expired' or 'Not Invited'.

Answer

When you click a value in the 'Qualification Status' column for a company, a Qualifications side panel opens. This side panel shows data from sources such as Procore, the Procore Construction Network, and COMPASS.

The following tabs exist:

Overview Tab

Data Shown Data Source
General business information such as: office locations, business certifications, trades, and licences. Generated from the company's profile on the Procore Construction Network.
OR
If the company has a profile COMPASS, this data will generate from COMPASS instead.

Qualifications Tab

Data Shown Data Source
Data that the subcontractor provided in their COMPASS application, such as: EMR history, average contract size, and annual revenue. Generated from the vendor's reported information in COMPASS.

COMPASS subscribers can view a vendor's COMPASS project history while in the Qualifications tab of the side panel. This data includes up to five (5) current and five (5) completed projects that the vendor submitted to their COMPASS account.

The following information will be available for each project where available:
  • Project Name
  • Subcontract Value
  • Location
  • (Estimated) Completion Date
  • GC / Owner
  • Scope of Work / CSI Code

Generated from the vendor's reported information in COMPASS.

Procore Activity Tab

Data Shown Data Source
Data from the subcontractor’s project history on the Procore platform

Compiled from Procore projects, typically over the last three years.
Note: This data only reflects a portion of the subcontractor's projects in Procore and does not include any project history outside of Procore. Not all of their projects may be in Procore, and some Procore projects may not contain financial information.
OSHA inspections and violations Obtained directly from OSHA.
Procore receives an update from OSHA every two weeks.
Mechanics liens Obtained from different county offices across the country.
Procore has access to around 70% of mechanic liens filed in the US.
Bankruptcy data Obtained from a third party partner.
The data includes both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcies which are updated in Procore on a weekly basis. The data covers nationwide construction companies, property holding companies, or companies that may have locations with construction being performed (such as retailers).
Tax Lien data Obtained from a third party source.
This data is updated once a month. Tax lien data covers around 70% of states, with coverage focused on the major metros within those states.
