Below are notable changes for the Procore web application for the month of February 2025.
The Tasks tool now supports email notifications for core events. Users can now configure notifications for events such as task creation, status updates, and comments.
The Site Diary tool now supports configurable fieldsets and custom fields on more register types. For details, see What are configurable fieldsets and which tools support them? and What are custom fields and which tools support them?
With this enhancement, you can reduce time scrolling. Simply click the 'Create' button at the top of the Site Diary and select a register type. Then, the system navigates you to the section of the log you selected from the 'Create' menu. Fill out the log as needed. See Create Site Diary Items for details.

Procore is please to announce the general availability of commitment progress claim retention controls for Progress Claim Management. The new 'Subcontractor Default Progress Claim Type' drop-down in Configure Settings: Invoicing lets 'Admin' users determine billable columns—Work and Materials, and/or Retention. 'Admin' users can select billing options when sending invites to bill and set a default progress claim type for progress claims created by subcontractors without an invite. Learn more about this feature by visiting Send an Invite to Bill to a Progress Claim Contact and Accept or Decline an Invite to Bill as a Progress Claim Contact.
