Below are the notable changes to the Company level Directory tool in 2019.

New Granular Permission to View Private RFIs Associated to Users within Same Company (21/11/2019)

Procore has added a new granular permission to allow users to view an RFI marked 'Private' if another user in their company is the RFI's creator or is designated as the RFI Manager, an Assignee or a Distribution List member. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template.

New Granular Permission to View Private Transmittals Associated to Users within Same Company (15/11/2019)

Procore has added a new granular permission to allow users to view a transmittal marked 'Private' if another user in their company is the transmittal's creator or included in the 'To' or 'CC' fields of the transmittal. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template.

New Granular Permissions Added for the Photos Tool (12/11/2019)

Procore has added four new granular permissions for the Photos tool that can be applied to permission templates in the Company level Directory tool. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template: Photos
Note: Some actions for the Photos tool are not available on the Procore iOS and Android apps and the new granular permissions are currently only respected in the Procore Web app. 

New Granular Permission to View Private Submittals Associated to Users within Same Company (29/10/2019)

Procore has added a new granular permission to allow users to view a submittal marked 'Private' if another user in their company is the submittal's creator or is designated as the Submittal Manager, a Submitter, an Approver or a Distribution List member. New Granular Permission for Uploading and Reviewing Drawings (17/10/2019) 

A new granular permission for the Drawings tool is now available to enable on permission templates in the Company level Directory tool. The 'Upload and Review Drawings' permission allows users to review and confirm drawings they have uploaded. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template and Review and Confirm Drawings.

New Granular Permissions to Create Submittal Items and Packages (25/9/2019)

Procore has added new granular permissions for creating submittal items and submittal packages on the Submittals tool. See Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template.

Added a New Granular Permission for Creating Reference Users to Permission Templates (28/6/2019)

Procore has added a new granular permission in the Directory category of the permission templates feature (see Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template) named 'Create Reference Users (Only Applicable if Timesheets or Incidents is Enabled)' to work with the project's Incidents tool.  This works with another granular permission which Procore had previously released 'Update Reference Users (Only Applicable if Timesheets or Incidents is Enabled)' for use with the project's Timesheets tool. New Company Name Drop-Down List (27/6/2019)

As part of the preparation steps for configurable fields release in the future, Procore has modified the Create User and Edit User pages in the Company and Project Directory tools. Users will now see an 'x' in the Company Name drop-down list that can be used instead of the Clear Company link, a new 'Copy to Personal Information' link lets you quickly input company information to the user's personal record. In addition, the Company Name field is now searchable on the Users tab and you can now create a new company record by clicking Create New at the bottom of the Company Name drop-down list. Doing Business As (DBA) Field Now Searchable in Users Tab (17/6/2019)  

Procore has updated the Company and Project Directory to make the DBA field searchable in the Users tab. See Search and Filter the Company Directory and Search and Filter the Project Directory.

New Granular Permission For 'Standard' Users To Edit And Delete Their Own Entries In The Site Diary (29/5/2018)  

Added a new 'Standard Users Can Edit and Delete Own Entries' granular permission to the Company Directory tool for the Site Diary. This permission allows 'Standard' users to edit and delete their own entries in the Site Diary, as long as the day has not been marked as complete. New 'View Company Insurance Information' Granular Permission (22/4/2019)

Procore has updated the Company level Directory tool to add a new 'View Company Insurance Information' granular permission. Now, users with 'Admin' level permission on the Company Directory can manage end user's ability to view company insurance information on vendor/company records. Enabling this permission provides end users with 'Read-Only' or 'Standard' level permission on the Company Directory to view information added to the Insurance tab on a company record. Doing Business As (DBA) Field Now Searchable (16/4/2019) 

Procore has updated the Company and Project Directory to make the DBA field searchable. See Search and Filter the Company Directory and Search and Filter the Project Directory.

Directory: Improved Search-As-You-Type Capabilities (14/2/2019) 

To provide Procore users with improved search-as-you-type capabilities, Procore has updated the Company and Project Directories to incorporate trigram indexing. This will provide users with powerful and more efficient search results. Now, when you enter any trigram (i.e., any three (3) characters in sequence), Procore's Directory tool's will yield all possible matches regardless of where those three (3) characters appear.
