Configure Custom Statuses for Equipment
Objective
To configure custom statuses for equipment in the company's Equipment tool.
Background
In the company's Equipment tool settings, you can configure custom statuses equipment. Custom status must be mapped to one of the following categories:
- Available. Equipment that is free and ready for use.
- In Use. Equipment that is in use and unavailable for other tasks.
- Unavailable. Equipment that is out of service or inaccessible due to maintenance, malfunction, or other reasons.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions
- You can only delete custom statuses if they are not applied to an equipment record.
Steps
- Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.
- Click the configure settings
icon.
- Click the Status Configuration tab.
- Under the relevant category for 'Available', 'In Use', or 'Unavailable', enter the status you want to create.
- Click Add.
- Click the caret
next to the category to see all corresponding statuses.
- To manage custom statuses:
- Mark or clear the checkbox to show or hide the status in the Equipment tool.
- Click the delete
icon to remove a status option.
