Bulk Delete Projects in Workforce Planning

Objective

To bulk delete projects in Workforce Planning.

Background

You can delete projects in Workforce Planning

 Note

Projects can be created in either Procore or Workforce Planning, but your company must choose one as your system of record. Your Procore point of contact guides your company through this decision based on your setup.

This article is for customers who have Workforce Planning as their system of record for project creation and management.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
  • Deactivating or deleting a project will end any current assignments and requests, and will delete any future assignments and requests.
  • Deleted or inactive projects are removed from the Assignments board.
  • Inactive projects remain in Workforce Planning for record keeping purposes.
  • Inactive projects cannot have new workforce assignments or workforce requests created or existing requests and assignments edited.
  • If data syncs are enabled:
    • Projects that are marked as inactive or deleted in Workforce Planning are marked as 'Inactive' in Procore.
 Important
Deleting a project permanently removes all the history and data associated with that project from Workforce Planning.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
  2. Click Projects and select Project List.
  3. Mark the checkboxes of the projects you want to delete.
