Manage Attachments for Projects in Workforce Planning
Objective
To add, view or delete attachments for projects managed in Workforce Planning.
Background
You can attach documents to projects such as permits, neighborhood regulations or other documents related to your project. You can view or delete attachments at any time.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions
- Additional Information
- By default, notes can be viewed by anyone with permissions to 'View Projects Attachments'.
- Deleting attachments is permanent and cannot be recovered by Procore.
- If data syncs are enabled:
- Attachments are NOT added to the Project in Procore Projects.
Prerequisites
Steps
When managing attachments, you can:
Add Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Project and select Projects List.
- Click the project name.
- Click the Specifications tab.
- Locate the 'Attachments' section and click Add Attachments.
- Click Upload File and select the file to upload.
- Click Save.
Edit Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Project and select Projects List.
- Click the project name.
- Click the Specifications tab.
- Locate the 'Attachments' section and Edit.
- Click Upload File and select the file to upload.
- Click Save.
View Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Project and select Projects List.
- Click the project name.
- Click the Specifications tab.
- Click the attachment link.
- Click Download.
- Open the downloaded file locally on your device.
Delete Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Project and select Projects List.
- Click the project name.
- Click the Specifications tab.
- Locate the 'Attachments' section and Edit.
- Click the X on the attachment.
- Click Remove File.
