Add a Comment to a Change Event


Objective

To view existing or add new comments to a Change Event

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • To add a comment to a Change Event, ‘Standard’ or ‘Admin’ level permissions on the project's Change Events tool. 

    • To view existing comments for a Change Event, ‘Read Only’ level permissions or higher on the project’s Change Events tool. 

NOTE: Comments must be enabled from the Advanced Settings tab of the Change Event.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Change Events tool.
  2. Open the change event that you want to add the comment to.
  3. Click the Comments tab.
    Note: any existing comments are shown.

  4. Add information to the text field and attach files as needed. 
  5. Click Send.
    A GREEN banner indicates the action is complete.
