Procore has added a feature that allows you to export object data from a model file in the project's Documents tool. See Export Object Data from a Model File. After the export is complete, you will receive an email with a CSV file that contains the data.
Support for Navisworks® Files in the 3D Model Viewer of the documents tool (10/10/2022)
Procore has added support for viewing and downloading Navisworks® files (.nwd, .nwc) in the project's Documents tool. See View and Download 3D Models in the Documents Tool.
View and download Revit® Files in the Documents Tool (08/08/2022)
Procore has added the ability for users to view and download Revit® files (.rvt) in the project's Documents tool. Generally, most contractors of a company do not have the ability to view Revit files because of not having access to the Revit application. This feature allows all project users to quickly access and view 3D models directly in Procore. See View and Download 3D Models in the Documents Tool.
New View-Only Mode for Microsoft Office 365® Files in the Documents Tool (10/03/2022)
Procore has made a change to the Documents tool that allows users to view Microsoft files in the Microsoft Office 365 viewer without needing to sign in to an account. See View a File in Microsoft Office 365 Using the Documents Tool. Previously, only users with a Microsoft Office 365 account could open Office 365 files from the Documents tool and the viewer automatically opened to Edit mode. See Open or Edit a File in Microsoft Office 365 Using the Documents Tool.
