Delete a Meeting Category


To delete a meeting category from a meeting agenda using the project's Meetings tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Meeting tool. 
    • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Meetings tool with the 'Manage Meeting Categories' granular permission enabled on your permissions template.
  • Additional Information:
    • Meeting items must be in a category. If there are no custom categories, meeting items are added to the 'Uncategorized Items' category.
    • When you delete a meeting category, existing meeting items in that category are automatically moved to the 'Uncategorized Items' area.
    • Meeting items are NOT deleted when you delete meeting categories. 


  1. Navigate to the project's Meeting tool.
  2. Click the Meeting Title.
  3. Click the Delete icon-delete-x.png icon next to the category.
  4. Click OK.
