View Project Reports
Objective
To view all of your project's reports in your project's Reports tool.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool.
AND - Additional permissions to view the following project reports:
- Custom Project Reports: Core Tools
- To view a custom project report using Directory as the source:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the Project level Directory tool.
- To view a custom project report using Directory as the source:
- Custom Project Reports: Financial Management Tools
- To view a custom project report using Budget as the source:
- 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Budget tool AND 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool.
- To view a custom project report using the Change Management sources:
- Change Event Line Item Details source: 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Change Events tool.
- Potential Variations and Variations sources: 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Budget, Commitments and Head Contracts tools.
- To view a custom project report using the Financial Line Items sources:
- 'Admin' level permissions on all Financial Management tools.
- To view a custom project report using Owner Progress Claims as the source:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Head Contracts tool.
- To view a custom project report using Subcontractor Progress Claims as the source:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Commitments tool.
- To view a custom project report using Budget as the source:
- Program Reports
- 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Program tool.
- Site Diary Reports
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Site Diary tool.
- Custom Project Reports: Core Tools
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool.
- Additional Information:
- The same permissions listed above for viewing custom reports are required to view a shared custom project report. See Share a Custom Project Report.
Steps
- Navigate to the Project level Reports tool.
- To view a report, click the title of the report. Reports are categorized by the following:
- My Custom Reports: Custom project reports that you created or that were shared with you.
- Project Reports: General reports that display data that span the project.
- Financial Reports: Reports related to financials, such as budget and variation reports.
Note: When the Budget tool is turned "On", the Budget Forecast Report and Budget Variance Report will not appear. When the Budget tool is turned "Off", The Budget Modifications and Budget Variance Report will not appear. - Program Reports: Reports related to the project's programmed tasks and changes.
Note: Program Reports only report on data from program files uploaded to the Project level Program tool and do not report on data manually entered in Procore. - Site Diary Reports: Reports related to different registers in the Site Diary tool.
- Once you click into a report, you can not edit the report. However, you can export the report as PDF.
