View Program Changes Report
Objective
To view all of the changes made to the Program tool via Procore Drive.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Read Only' or higher permissions on the Project level Reports tool.
AND
'Read Only' or higher permissions on the Project level Program tool.
- 'Read Only' or higher permissions on the Project level Reports tool.
- Additional Information:
- The following must be true in order for this report to display information.
- You must be integrating a Microsoft Project Program to Procore's Program tool.
- You must integrate the program through Procore Drive. See Integrate a Microsoft Project Program using Procore Drive.
- You must NOT have disabled the Procore Change Reason Add-on. See Disable the Procore Change Reason Pop-up in MS Project.
- Users with the appropriate permissions can create a custom report on Programmed Tasks and Requested Changes for the program in the Project level Reports tool. See Create a Custom Project Report.
- The following must be true in order for this report to display information.
Steps
- Navigate to the Project level Reports tool.
- Click Program Changes under the Program Reports section.
- Filter for the program change you would like to view.
- Change Tasks:
- Directly: Check this if you would like to view changes to the program that were made manually to the Microsoft Project program.
- Through Calculation: Check this if you would like to view changes that were made from a recalculation of linked dates in Microsoft Project.
- Date Range:
- Set the date range you would like to view program changes within.
- Change Tasks:
- You will view a report of the following information.
- ID: This is the number assigned to the programmed task in Procore.
- Date: This is the date associated with the programmed task.
- Task Name: This is the title of the task in Procore. Click the title link to view the task in a new browser tab.
- Changes By: This field displays the name of the person who originally changed the programmed task.
- Changes: This summarises the change that was made to the programmed task. This may be a percent complete, a change to the start/finish date, assigning the task a resource or another change noted by the creator.
- Reason: This displays the reason why the change had been made. This field is filled out by the user who changed the program in Microsoft Project.
- Resources: This lists the resources assigned to the task in Microsoft Project.
