Can I create a list of overdue Head Contract Variations (HCVs)?

Answer

Yes. When users create head contract variations in Procore, most project teams want to manage the variation process as quickly and efficiently as possible. When variations are delayed, it can have a negative impact on both the project's timeline and costs. To help you avoid any setbacks, the project's Head Contracts tool lets users with 'Admin' permission on the Head Contracts and Reports tool a generate a report that lists any variations that have not been approved by its due date.

If your user account has been granted the appropriate permissions, you can run the report from these Procore tools:

Head Contracts Tool

  1. Navigate to the project's Head Contracts tool. 
  2. Locate the head contract in this list and click View. 
  3. Under Head Contract Reports, click Overdue Head Contract VARs.
    This generates a list of any head contract variations that are overdue, based on the 'Due Date' set in the variation. 

Project Reports Tool

  1. Navigate to the Project level Reports tool. 
  2. Click the Reports tab.
  3. Scroll to Financial Reports.
  4. Click Overdue Head Contract Variations.
    This generates a list of any head contract variations that are overdue, based on the 'Due Date' set in the variation.
