Delete a Timecard Entry in the Company Level Timesheets Tool

Objective

To delete a timecard entry from the project's Timesheets tool in the Company level Timesheets tool.

Background

You can delete a timecard entry from the Company level Timesheets tool if it is in the 'Pending' status. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • To delete any timecard entry in the 'Pending' or 'Reviewed' status:
      • Admin' level permissions on the company's Timesheets tool. 
        AND
      • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Timesheets tool. 
    • To delete any timecard entry in the 'Pending' status:
      • 'Standard' level permissions on the company's Timesheets tool.
        AND
      • 'Read Only' and 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Timesheets tool with the 'Review & Edit Timesheets' granular permission on the project's Timesheets tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • 'Approved' timecard entries cannot be deleted in the Company or Project level Timesheets tool. You must first change a timecard entry's status to 'Pending' or 'Reviewed' to delete it. 

Prerequisites

  • The timecard entry must be in the 'Pending' or 'Reviewed' status. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the company's Timesheets tool.
  2. Locate the timecard entry to delete.
     Note
  3. Click the Rubbish bin icon-delete-trash4.png icon for the timecard entry.
  4. Click Delete.
