2018

Below are notable changes to the Project level Documents tool in 2018.

Enhanced the Allow Access Shortcut Menu in the Documents Tool (04/12/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Documents tool to add type-ahead and search term keys to the Select a Person or Permission Group shortcut menu under Allow Access. This enhances the way users can set access permissions on documents and folders in the Documents tool's tree structure.

Improved the Permissions Display in the Documents Tree (29/11/2018)

Updated the Documents tool to improve the user experience. Prior to this update, when a folder was locked, the permissions associated with a locked folder automatically cascaded down to its child file/folders. However, there was no visual indication that files and folder were locked. Now, the tree structure in the Documents tool accurately reflects the current state (locked or unlocked) on all child folders and files by including a lock icon.

Sticky File Tree In Documents (01/11/18)

Updated the Documents tool to make the file tree sticky. This means that when you click on a file, then refresh the page, it should open right to the file you previously had open.

Removed Auto-search In Documents (18/10/2018)

Updated the Documents tool to remove auto-searching after 3 characters are typed in and added a new "no results found" icon.

Moved Search and Filters to Top of Page (15/10/2018)

Updated the Company and Project level Documents tool to move the Search and Filter features from the sidebar to the top of the page.

'Watched Folders' and 'Recent Documents' Collapsed by Default (07/03/2018)

Updated the Project level Documents tool so that now, the 'Watched Folders' and 'Recent Documents' tables are collapsed by default.

New Confirmation Messages for the Procore + DocuSign Integration (05/02/2018)

Added new confirmation messages that appear when (1) a user clicks the 'Void' button on the BLUE DocuSign Pending Banner or (2) a user clicks the 'Withdraw' button on the GREEN DocuSign Complete Banner. This new message prompts the user to confirm the void or withdraw action and appears in the Commitments, Documents and Head Contract tools when the Procore + DocuSign integration is enabled.

Added 'Edit' Button to Procore + DocuSign Integration Banners (19/01/2018)

Added a new 'Edit' Button on the Signature Pending and Signature Completed banners that display for end users who are using the Procore + DocuSign Integration (see DocuSign). When a user clicks this button, the system reveals the Edit page of the DocuSign envelope. Banners have been updated in the Commitments, Variations,  and Documents tools.
