This page details notable changes to the Project level Reports tool for the year 2016.

Added More Commitments Columns To Custom Reports (27/12/2016)

Updated the Reports tools to add more columns for the Commitments tool in custom reports. The additional columns include: Payment Terms, Delivery Date, Ship To Address, Ship Via, Signed Contract Received Date, Contract Termination Date, Retention Percent, Private and Actual Completion Date. 

Added Title Links To Custom Reports (16/12/2016)

Updated the Reports tools to add title links to Project Name, PV, Program Tasks and Inspection Item Details in custom reports.

Added a Defect List Comment Column For Custom Reports (9/12/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Reports tool to add a Defect List Comment column.

Added Title Links To Reports Tool (2/12/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to add Title links to custom reports.

Changed Button Labels In Reports Tool (21/11/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to change these button's labels: (1) Changed from 'Add Dashboard' to 'Create Dashboard' and (2) Changed from 'Add Custom Report' to 'Create Custom Report'. 

Re-labled Items for Custom Reports That Include Data From The Inspections Tool (21/11/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to re-label the 'Inspections' and 'Inspection Items' label to 'Inspection Summary' and 'Inspection Item Details' in custom reports. 

Added Item Details To Custom Inspection Reports (27/9/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to add Item Details from the Inspections tool to the custom report feature.

Added Project Roles To Custom Portfolio Reports (19/9/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to add Project Roles to custom reports that include data from the Portfolio tool.

Added Filtering To Official Responders Column On Custom Reports (13/9/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to add filtering to Official Responders columns on custom reports that include data from the RFIs tool.

Added Program Tasks To Custom Reports (8/9/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add a 'Program Tasks' tickbox to the Select Tools area of the Create Company Custom Report and Create Project Custom Report pages. Users can these columns, as well as Calculated Columns, to the report:  Activity ID, Actual Finish Date, Actual Start Date, Critical Path, Duration, Finish, Full Outline Path, ID, Is Summary Task, Milestone, Name, Percent Complete, Project Name, Project Number, Program Task ID, Source UID, Start, Summary Task and WBS.

Added RFI Columns To Custom Reports (25/8/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the following columns to custom reports that include data from the RFIs tool: Official Responders, Official Responses and Questions.

Fixed Overlapping Icons On Calculated Columns In Custom Reports (24/8/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Reports tools to fix an issue where the Edit and Function icons on calculated columns would overlap in the user interface. The icons now appear as expected.

Variation Reconciliation Report Deactivated When Change Events Is Enabled (10/8/2016)

Updated the Change Events tool and Reports tools. Now, when the Change Events tool is enabled as a active tab on a project, the system deactivates the Variation Reconciliation Report in the 'Financial Reports' section of the Project Reports page.

Sort 'Filter Timecards By' Area Alphabetically in Timecard Report (8/8/2016)

Updated the Project level Reports tool to  update the Timecard Report so that the drop-down lists in the 'Filter Timecards By' area of the sidebar are using alphabetical sort. See View Timecard Report.

Added Columns To Vendor Insurance Report (2/8/2016)

Updated the Company-and Project-level Reports tools to add a 'Status' and 'Notes' column to Vendor Insurance Reports. These columns are also included in PDF and CSV exports.

Added the Accident Register to Custom Reports (25/7/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the Accident Register to the list of Site Diaries available when creating custom reports.

Improved Custom Defect List Reports (14/7/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add 'Trade' as an available field for custom reports that include data from the Defect List tool.

Added Daily Workplace Hazards and Incidents Register To Custom Reports (14/7/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the Daily Workplace Hazards and Incidents Register to list of available Site Diary options in custom reports.

Fixed Calculation Issue In Custom Reports (5/7/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to fix an issue where the calculated columns option on custom reports wasn't letting users divide by zero. This has been fixed.

New Column And Filters For Custom Commitments Reports (30/6/2016)

Updated the Reports tools to add filtering to Ball in Court, Contract Company and Workflow State for custom reports with data from the Commitments tool. Also added a Date Created column.

Added New Column To Custom Change Events Reports (24/6/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add a 'Commitment Contracting Company' column to the custom reports feature when including report data from the Change Events tool.

Added Report Name To Custom Submittal Reports PDF (16/6/2016) 

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the report name to PDF exports for custom reports that include Submittals tool data.

Added Columns To Custom Reports In Reports Tool (16/6/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add the 'Approvers Due Date' and 'Ball in Court Due Date' for custom reports that include data from the Submittals tool.

Added Date Range Filtering To Custom Reports (15/6/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to choose a date range for each date field available in their custom report. This capability allows users to hone in on multiple date values. For example, a user can now filter their submittals custom report by a date range for their Anticipated Delivery Date and another for their Submittal's Final Due Date. This allows the user to focus on submittals due next month that have deliveries this week.

Added the Weather Register to Custom Reports (6/6/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the ability to include data from the Weather Register in a custom report. 

Improved Permissions Access To Custom Reports Feature (17/5/2016)

Added permission changes to improve access to custom reporting features:

  • Users with 'Admin' permissions on the Company level Reports tool can create a custom report that includes data from the tools on which they have 'Admin permissions. These 'Admins' will only have permission to include data from project's where they have appropriate tool permission. 
  • Users with 'Admin' permissions on the Project level Reports tool can create a custom report that includes data from the tools on which they have 'Admin permissions.
  • Custom reports are still only visible and available to the individual who created them.
Added the Delivery Register to Custom Reports (4/5/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tools to add the ability to include data from the Delivery Register in a custom report.

Added New Columns to Custom Submittals Reports (4/5/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Company and Project level Reports tool to add a new Package Number column to custom reports that include Submittals data. Also added filtering for Package Name, Created By and Spec Section Number.

Added Grouping And Aggregation Rows To Custom Reports PDF Exports (19/4/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Company and Project level Reports tool to add grouping and aggregation rows to PDF exports.

Added Sort And Filter Options On Variation Reconciliation Report (15/4/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to add alphabetic sorting by name to the Contract Company filter options on the Variation Reconciliation Report.

Added RFI Status Column To Custom Reports Feature (13/4/2016)

Added a new 'RFI Status' column to the custom reports feature of the Company and Project level Reports tools.

Added Site Diary/Inspections To Custom Reports (12/4/2017)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Company and Project level Reports tool to allow users to include the Site Diary's Inspection Register.

Changed the Name of the Projects Checkbox to Portfolio In Custom Reports (7/4/2016)

Updated the Reports tool to rename a checkbox in the Select Tools area of the custom reports page from "Projects" to "Portfolio." This was changed so the checkbox name matches the name on the Company level tab. This is related to a new feature detailed in Added a Custom Portfolio Report (5/4/2016).

Added Filter For Creator Column In Custom Defect List Reports (5/4/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add a filter for the Creator column for custom reports that include Defect List data.

Added Filter for BIC Column In Custom RFI Reports (5/4/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add a filter for the Ball in Court (BIC) column for custom reports that include data from the RFIs tool.

Added Filter For Response Column In Custom Submittals Reports (5/4/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add filtering to the Response column for custom reports that include Submittals data.

Added a Custom Portfolio Report (5/4/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add the Portfolio Report to the custom reporting feature. To include Portfolio, users can select the Projects checkbox in the Select Tools area of the Create Project Custom Report or Create Company Custom Report form.

Updated Custom Report PDF Exports From The Reports Tools (1/4/2016)

Users can now export custom reports to PDF using the Company and Project level Reports tool. If the total number of rows on the report is larger than 3000 records, the PDF will be sent by email to the user. Otherwise, the report will be downloaded as soon as it is available. The same 3000 record rule applies to Microsoft Excel exports.

Updated Custom Report PDF Exports From The Reports Tools (1/4/2016)

Users can now export custom reports to PDF using the Company and Project level Reports tool. If the total number of rows on the report is larger than 3000 records, the PDF will be sent by email to the user. Otherwise, the report will be downloaded as soon as it is available. Added Workflow Columns To Custom Variation Reports (24/3/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Reports tool to add workflow columns to Custom Variation Reports.

Added Observations To Custom Reports (21/3/2016)

The Company and Project level Reports tools have been updated so that users can now include data from the Observations tool (see Observations) in custom reports. See Create a Custom Company Report and Create a Custom Project Report.  

Updated Sort On Columns In Custom Reports (21/3/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Reports tool to change the default sort behaviour of columns with string values to use natural and case-insensitive sort order.

Added An Inspectors Filter For Custom Inspections Reports (18/3/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Company and Project level Reports tools to add an Inspectors filter to the custom report for the Inspections tool. 

New PV Behaviour in Head Contract Reconciliation Report (14/3/2016)

Updated the Project level Reports tool so that variations with certain statuses are now included in the Variation Reconciliation Report, which can be accessed under the Financial Reports section of the project's Reports tool (see Reports (Project Level)).  The Variation Reconciliation Report compares all variation line items by associated budget line item. With this update, Potential Variations (PCOs) with a status of "Rejected" or with a pending status (e.g., pricing, not pricing, proceeding, not proceeding) now appear in the report.

Added Program Task Column To Custom Reports Feature (9/3/2016)

Added the Program Task column to the custom reports feature in both the Company and Project level Reports tool.

Added Type and Contract Company Column to Custom Reports for Variation Reporting (7/3/2016)

Updated the Company and Project level Reports tool to add the Type and Contract Company columns to the custom reports feature when users select to include report data for variations.

Aligned Group And Filter Options In Custom Reports (2/3/2016)

Updated the custom reports feature in the Project level Reports tool to move the Group By drop-down list into alignment with the Filter drop-down list.

Added Filters To Progress Claim By Date Report (1/3/2016)

Updated the Project level Reports tool to add filters to the "Progress Claim by Date" report. Users can now filter report data by Billing Date(s) or by Period. See View Progress Claims by Date

Added Cost Code Filters To Custom Submittal Reports (29/2/2016)

Updated the custom report features of the Company and Project level Reports tools to add filtering capability to the Cost Code columns for custom Submittals reports.

Added Project Number Column To Custom Reports (29/2/2016)

Added the Project Number column to all tools in the custom reports feature for both the Company and Project level Reports tool.

Added RFI # To Company And Project Custom Reports (22/2/2016)

Added the ability to include the RFI # column in custom reports created with the Company level and Project level Reports tool.

Standardized A Column Label For Custom Submittals Reports (19/2/2016)

Updated both the Company level and Project level Reports tools to standardise the label of a column header for custom reports including Submittals data. The label for Spec Section column header has been changed from "Spec Section #" to "Spec Section Number".

Updated Site Diaries Tool In Custom Reports (12/2/2016)

In the Create Custom Reports page of the Company and Project level Reports tool, the Site Diaries tickbox to the right of the Select Tools label is now a drop-down list that displays the available diary selections. To include a particular diary in a report, mark the corresponding tickbox in the drop-down list.

Added Site Diaries to Custom Reports (11/2/2016)

Added Site Diaries (Working Hours, Notes, Timecard Entry, Equipment, Visitor) to the custom reports feature in the Company level and Project level Reports tools. 

Restyled The Procore To Tableau Popup In Company And Project Reports Tool (10/2/2016)

Restyled the Procore to Tableau popup box that contains the secure custom report links for use with the Tableau web data connector. See Tableau Web Data Connector. To view the popup, view a custom report in the Company or Project level Reports tool and then click the Tableau button next to the Export Report As label at the top of the page.

PV Columns Now Included In Commitments Custom Reports (2/2/2016)

Added 'Approved PV' and 'Pending PV' columns to the Commitments sub tab for custom reports created with the Company level and Project level Reports tools. In the Project level Reports tool, note the columns are not viewable if the Head Contract Variation (HCV) Tiers are set to a single tier (1) for the project. When using the Company level Reports tool and some of the HCV tiers on a project are set to multi-tiered, the cells that represent Potential Variation (PV) columns on single-tier projects will be blank.

Procore Integration with Tableau Web Data Connector (28/1/2016)

Added Tableau features for use with custom reports on the Company level and Project level Reports tools. With this update, a Tableau button appears next to the Export Report As label of a custom report. Pressing this button opens a window that reveals a secure, live live that can be copied and pasted into Tableau for use as a data source. See Tableau Web Data Connector

Tab Titles In Custom Reports Must Be Unique (26/1/2015)

When creating a custom report with the Company level Reports tool, tab titles must be unique. Duplicates tab titles are not permitted. See Create a Custom Company Report

New Columns For Custom Commitments Reports (25/1/2016)

Added new columns to custom reports feature in the Company level Reports tool (see Reports) and the Project Level Reports tool for reports that include data from the Project level Commitments tool (see Commitments). These new columns include: Pending Potential Variation Approved Potential Variation Cost Code Assignee. 

Added Multi-Value Filtering To Custom Reports (13/1/2016)

Updated the Reports tool so that the custom reports feature now supports filtering on multiple values. 

New Columns for Commitments in Custom Reports (12/1/2016)

Added a number of new columns to the Reports tool. To see the new columns, click the Add Custom Report button and mark the Commitments tickbox in the Select Tool area. At the Step 2: Build and Customise Report page, the following new columns are available in the Commitments - Available Columns list: Inclusions, Exclusions, Description, Contract Estimated, Completion Date, Contract Start Date, Created By (filterable), and Workflow State Name, Ball In Court and Ball In Court Duration.
