What happens when companies and users are added from the Procore Construction Network to the Company Directory?

Limited Release
The Procore Construction Network is currently only available in the United States.

Background

The Procore Construction Network is a network of construction businesses, such as contractors, architects, engineers and suppliers.

You can add tenderers from the Procore Construction Network when you solicit tenders for a project using the Enhanced Tender Management experience. When you add tenderers from the Procore Construction Network, the tender contacts and company are automatically added to your company's Directory. You can also add companies listed on the Procore Construction Network directly to your company's Directory.

By adding these companies, we are making it easier for you to connect with businesses already in Procore so you can use new collaboration features as they become available.

 Note

For customers with ERP integrations, adding companies from the Procore Construction Network is available but not required. You can continue to add companies via ERP. If your permissions allow adding companies manually to the Directory, users will also be able to add companies from the Procore Construction Network.

If duplicate companies are added, they can be merged. See Merge Companies.

Answer

When you add any company from the Procore Construction Network, the company is automatically added to your Company’s Directory as a connected company and the company's name, address, website and phone number are added to your directory. You can add or modify information about the connected company in your Company level Directory.

 Note
Currently, after the company information is initially added to your Directory information is NOT updated in your Directory if the connected company makes changes to their information.

Depending on how you add the company, the company's tender contacts may or may not be automatically added:
