2018
Below are the notable changes to the project's Defect List tool in 2018.
Bulk Delete Categories from Defect List Templates (13/9/2018)
Added the ability to Bulk Delete Template Categories from the Company level Defect List tool.
Added Overdue Filter Option (23/8/2018)
Added an 'Overdue' option to the Add Filter menu in the Project level Defect List tool. Overdue is defined as a Defect Item with no 'closed at date' and with a 'due date' that is in the past.
Added Photo Thumbnails to Defect Items PDFs (31/5/2018)
Updated Defect Item PDFs so that instead of showing defect items as hyperlinks, the attachments display as photo thumbnails.
New Ball In Court Field on Defect List Items (24/5/2018)
Updated the Project level Defect List tool to add a 'Ball In Court' field under 'Item Information' in the View > Defect List Item page.
Changed Name of 'Detail' Column to 'Description' (4/5/2018)
Updated the Project level Defect List tool to change the name of the 'Detail' column on the Detail tab to 'Description.' This change has also been made on the Defect List Items with Details table.
Added 'Assignee Name' to List of Bulk Edit Options (10/4/2018)
Updated the list of options in the 'Bulk Edit' menu in the Defect List tool to add 'Assignee Name'. See Bulk Edit Defect List Items.
Consolidated Defect Item Images In Attachments Field (16/3/2018)
Updated the Project level Defect List tool to consolidate the files stored in the Attachments field. Procore now stores the files in 'Photos from Mobile Application' and the files in 'Attachments' in a single field.
'Change History' for Defect Items Now Only Visible To 'Admin' Users (8/3/2018)
Updated the Project level Defect List tool so that now, the 'Change History' link on a defect item is only visible and available to users with 'Admin' level permission on the tool. Access for that link is no longer permitted for users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permission.
Updated the 'Respond to Defect Items Assigned to Users Within Same Company' Granular Permission (2/2/2018)
Updated the Company Directory to correct the verbiage of the Defect List tool's granular permission. The word 'Private' was removed from the label, so it now reads 'Respond to Defect Items Assigned to Users Within Same Company', instead of 'Respond to Private Defect Items Assigned to Users within Same Company.' This label update was to clarify that the permission grants a user the privilege to respond to defect items assigned to other users within the same Procore company account. This includes responding to defect items marked as 'Private'.
