Create Items from Photos (Android)

Objective

To create items in other project tools from photos on an Android mobile device.

Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Photos tool AND the tool where you are creating the item.
Additional Information:
- You can create items for the following tools: Site Diary, Change Events, Correspondence, Incidents, Obsercations, Defect List, RFI, Daywork Sheets and Tasks.

You can create an item from:

Navigate to the project's Photos tool in the Procore app using an Android mobile device.
Tap the Tools screen.
Tap the Camera tool.
Tap the shutter to take a photo.
Tap the photo thumbnail to open the recent photos tray.
Tap Select to and tap the Photos you are creating an item from.
Tap Create Item.
Select the item you want to create.
Note: 'Standard' level permission is required on the tool where you are creating an item.
Fill out the necessary fields for the item you are creating.
Tap Create or Save to finishing creating the item.

Navigate to the project's Photos tool in the Procore app using an Android mobile device.
Tap the Tools screen.
Tap the Photos tool.
Open the photo you are creating an item from.
Note: To change viewing options, tap the icon in the top right corner. In the Album view, you can select multiple photos by tapping the album that contains the photos, then long press a photo to begin selecting multiple photos OR you can select a single photo from the Feed and Timeline views.
Tap Create Item.
Select the item you want to create.
Note: 'Standard' level permission is required on the tool where you are creating an item.
Fill out the necessary fields for the item you are creating.
Tap Create or Save to finishing creating the item.
