Reopen a Coordination Issue
Objective
To reopen a co-ordination issue in the Ready for Review, Closed, or Moved to Observation status.
Background
You may need to reopen an issue if you find it still requires work after someone places it Ready for Review or Closed status. For example, a reviewer might discover a fix is incomplete, new information could make the original solution obsolete, or someone may have closed the issue by mistake. You can also reopen issues in the Moved to Observation status.
The Reopen action formally reactivates the issue and changes the issue's status back to 'Open'. It also indicates to assignees that more attention is needed. This helps to ensure your team fully resolves every issue before final model sign-off.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- To reopen any co-ordination issue, 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Co-ordination Issues tool.
- To reopen a co-ordination you created, 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Co-ordination Issues tool.
- Additional Information:
- You can reopen issues in the Ready to Review, Closed, or Moved to Observation status.
- Closed issues do not appear in the Procore BIM Plugin. You can only reopen it using the Co-ordination Issues tool in the Procore web application.

From the Procore Plugin for Co-ordination Issues
Note: Issues with a 'Closed' status cannot be reopened from the Procore plugin. However, you can reopen issues in the 'Ready for Review' status.
- Open Navisworks® and your model on your computer. See Getting Started Using the Procore Plugin.
- With the Procore tab selected, click Issues List.
- Hover over the issue that you want to reopen.
- Click Reopen.
Note: This will set the co-ordination issue to an 'Open' status, which will signify that the review process should begin again.
From the Documents Plugin for Autodesk
- Open Revit® on your computer.
- Navigate to a 3D view in the project browser of Revit®.
- Click the Procore tab.
- Click Co-ordination Issues.
- In the Co-ordination Issues side panel, select the project in Procore.
- On the co-ordination issue, click the information
icon. - Click Reopen.
From the Co-Ordination Issues Tool
- Navigate to the project's Co-ordination Issues tool on app.procore.com.
- Click the Issue link to view its details in the side panel.
- At the bottom of the panel, click Reopen.
This changes the co-ordination issue's status back to Open, which indicates to assignees that the review process should begin again.
