Create a Head Contract from an Estimate

Objective

To create a head contract from an estimate in a Procore project.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions
• To send an estimate to the budget, the estimate must be set as the primary estimate as indicated with a checkmark  icon.
• The estimate has to be sent to the budget before you can create a head contract. 

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.
2. Click the Estimating tab.
3. Select the estimate.
   
4. Click the Actions menu.
   
5. Select Create Head Contract.
6. Choose grouping and accounting options. 
7. Review the data.
8. Click Send to Head Contract.
