About the Commitments Tool

Objective

To learn about the options you can use when working with purchase orders and subcontracts in the Contracts tab of the Commitments tool.

Background

The table in the Contracts tab of the project's Commitments tool lists all of the purchase orders and subcontracts on your project. The features available in the table also provide you with:

  • Control over your contract's row and column configurations. Optimize your tool's workspace by changing the width and height of the table's rows. You can also easily show and hide the columns of your choice, quickly change the column sorting, automatically size one or all columns and pin columns to keep them in place on your page.
  • Powerful filtering capabilities to analyse your contract data.  Apply filters to improve your ability to analyse your contract financials. When applying a filter, Procore shows only the contracts that meet your criteria and hides the contracts that don't. You can then export or print your data with the filters you've applied.
  • Convenient data grouping options. Take a focused look at important subpopulations by bundling your contracts together in categories. Want to see all your contacts in the 'Draft' status or all the contracts for a specific company? You can apply one are all the grouping options to the table in the Contracts tab and rearrange the way your contracts data is nested.
  • Streamlined viewing and navigation experience for greater insight into large contract sets. The Contracts tab provides you with the best possible viewing and navigation experience to save you time jumping around to look at data.
