Below are the notable changes to the project's Site Diary tool.
Moved the 'Classifications' Tab to the Project Admin Tool (2/22/2021)
For Procore projects using the project's Timesheets tool, the 'Timecards' section of the project's Daily Log displays the employee's work classification in the 'Classification' drop-down list of a timecard entry. To improve the experience for users of Procore's Field Productivity tools, Procore has moved the 'Classifications' tab from the Project level Timesheets tool to the Project level Admin tool. Users can continue adding classifications in the Company level Admin tool (see Add a Classification) and now choose which company classifications are available in a project by following the steps in Enable Classifications on a Project.
Additional Fields Available for Custom Reports on the Daily Log Tool (09/18/2020)
When creating a custom report on the Daily Log in the Project or Company level Reports tool, you can now report on the following fields: Created By in the Weather Log, and Attachments and Attachments Count for the Notes, Delivery, Inspections, Quantity, Equipment, Safety Violations, Weather, and Daily Construction Report logs.
In addition, you can now filter by the Company field for the Daily Construction Report log.
Ability to Configure Custom Fields for Visitors Register on the Site Diary Tool (07/17/2020)
Procore now allows users with 'Admin' permissions to the Company Admin tool to configure custom fields for the Visitors register in the Site Diary tool. A fieldset determines whether data entry in a particular field is optional, required or hidden from view when team users create or edit the Visitors register. See Create New Configurable Fieldsets.
Create Custom Fields for the Visitors Register in the Site Diary Tool (17/07/2020)
Procore has added the ability for custom fields to be created for the Visitors register section in the Site Diary tool. You can use custom fields to capture information your company requires for tracking visitors to and from the worksite. See Create New Custom Fields. These custom fields will function like other fields in Procore and can be included in reports in the Company and Project level Reports tools.
New Reject and Resubmit Feature for Collaborator Entries in the Site Diary (07/14/2020)
Procore has added a 'Reject' button to the Site Diary tool so that Admins have the option to reject a collaborator entry if needed. See Approve or Reject Site Diary Entries. When an entry is rejected, a notification email will be sent to the collaborator and they will see a 'Resubmit' button next to their original entry. See Resubmit a Site Diary Entry as a Collaborator. After an entry has been resubmitted, it will appear as a pending entry again to be approved or rejected.
Ability to Create Custom Fields for the Notes Register in the Site Diary Tool (10/06/2020)
Company Admin users can now create custom fields for the Site Diary tool's Notes Register using configurable fieldsets. See Create New Custom Fields. These custom fields will function like other fields in Procore and can be included in reports in the Company and Project level Reports tools.
