What granular permissions are available for the Company level Directory tool?

Background

In Procore, the term granular permissions refers to task-based privileges that can be granted to users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on certain tools through the users' assigned Permissions Template.

The table below shows the granular permissions that are available for the Company level Directory tool.

Add or Update Project Assignment

Grants users the privilege to add or update other users' project assignments. See Add an Existing User to Projects in Your Company's Procore Account.

Assign to Future Projects

Grants users the privilege to assign users to future projects. See Add a User to Future Projects in Your Company Directory.

Create and Edit Companies

Grants users the privilege to create, edit, view, and deactivate company profiles. See Add a Company to the Company Directory.

Create and Edit Users (Based on Assignable Permissions Templates)

Grants users the privilege to create, edit, view and deactivate user profiles. See Add a User Account to the Company Directory.

Notes:

  • Users with granular permissions can only assign users to assignable permissions templates.

  • Users with granular permissions cannot change permissions for Company Admins. The 'Company Permissions' section will be hidden for those users.

  • Some fields can only be edited by users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Directory tool.

Remove Project Assignment
