Steps

  1. Procore > Company tools > Tender Board > Create new project > Template > Confirm > Input the below.
    • ​​​​​Estimate Name: Name of the project
    • Project Number: Procore Projects > Quote Register > Add the name and use the number beside it as the project number.
    • Customer: Either search or create a new customer
    • Address: Site address
  2. Click the 3 dots on the top right corner > Add to portfolio
  3. Tools > Admin > Input the below > Click update 
    • Total value
    • Start date
    • Completion date: Practical completion date
    • Address
    • Warranty start and end date: The start and end of the defects liability period
    • Debtor name: Client
  4. Work Breakdown Structure > Sub job > Add Items
    • Code & Description can be: 01 Discovery, Feasibility & De Risk | 02 Design | 03 Construction
  5. Hover over the subjob row then click the pencil icon > +Cost codes from company > Select all cost codes > Add (repeat for each subjob)
  6. Project Tools > Progress Claiming > Create billing period > Manual > From 1st of the month. To end of the month. Due date end of the month. > Create
  7. OneCore > Projects > General Settings > Refresh Procore Projects > Project Mapping - project should be automatically mapped > click pencil by the job > activate project > enable reverse direct cost, enable payroll > save changes.
  8. Sharepoint Expedite files > Create a folder in PROCORE PROJECTS, named as Project_Number.
  9. Go to SyncEzy.com > Log in > My Integrations> Details > Configuration > Add project to sync > Full Project Sync > Expedite > Select procore project > Tick all boxes > Sharepoint Site: Company > PROCORE PROJECTS > Select project folder > Select this location
    • Don't change the folder name afterwards, and don't change the folder structure otherwise it will stop syncing from Procore.
  10. Procore > Tools > Estimating, takeoffs, etc.
    • Once estimating is done and accurate, click actions > send to budget.

  • Manage revisions and distribute updates to specified users
  • Build accountability by tracking when and who downloaded each file

Estimating Overview

Upload plans and perform a quantity takeoff using a customisable database of parts, assemblies, equipment and services. Leverage auto-count and plan overlay to speed up the takeoff process. Takeoff data flows directly to construction estimating software ensuring ease of use. Simply adjust material prices, labour units, profit margins and create a customer-facing construction proposal.
